DuJuan McCoy

DuJuan McCoy is a seasoned broadcast executive and media entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience transforming television stations into high-performing, community-driven enterprises. A native of Indianapolis and graduate of Butler University, McCoy began his career in sales at WTTV and rose to executive leadership roles across major broadcast groups including Sinclair, Fox Television, and Capitol Broadcasting. In 2007, after completing the National Association of Broadcasters’ prestigious Broadcast Leadership Training Program, he founded Bayou City Broadcasting, becoming the first African American to own and operate a Fox affiliate in Texas and, later, the only African American owner of a CBS affiliate in the nation.

McCoy has since founded Circle City Broadcasting, acquiring WISH-CW and WNDY-MyNet in his hometown of Indianapolis. In 2020, he partnered with Cox Media Group to launch the Multicultural News Network (MNN), a national platform amplifying diverse voices in media. A recognized leader in broadcast ownership and a long-standing faculty member and supporter of the NAB BLT program, McCoy continues to break barriers and build pathways for Black ownership in television. His legacy is one of innovation, equity, and a deep commitment to diversifying American media.
