First Quarter Presidents Circle Salon Dinner In Partnership With Wells Fargo

On March 22nd, U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. hosted its first quarter Presidents Circle Salon dinner in partnership with Wells Fargo at the Salamander DC. The invite-only dinner convened 35 hand-selected entrepreneurs, subject matter experts and industry thought leaders to discuss how to use mergers and acquisitions as a tool to scale Black businesses and build wealth in Black communities.

The event was led by USBC CEO Ron Busby, Sr. and USBC President’s Circle Co-Chair Antwanye Ford, who also serves as CEO of Enlightened, and featured Bruce McDonald, Managing Director of Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking as an M&A subject matter expert.

“This dinner was about hosting a mastermind on mergers and acquisitions for Black business owners,” said Ron Busby. “We were able to confidentially explore ways that M&A can be used as a strategy not only for growth but also wealth creation.”

The USBC President’s Circle Salon Dinner is a quarterly dinner series designed to bring together the top minds in business and leaders of the largest Black-owned enterprises. The dinners serve two purposes: fostering community among Black CEOs and discussing best practices for scaling Black-owned companies and increasing profitability.
