Washington, DC – In an unwavering commitment to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the business world, U.S. Black Chambers, Inc (USBC) is proud to announce its official support for the Fearless Fund and the #WeAreAllFearless campaign. Together with NMSDC and our coalition partners, we are taking a bold stand against the assault on DEI values, striving to protect the gains achieved by minority business owners across the nation. This campaign aims to raise awareness, resources, and unity to safeguard a more just and equitable economy for all.
The #WeAreAllFearless campaign aligns with Giving Tuesday, a global day of philanthropy, and invites our community to contribute to the Fearless Fund’s defense against a cynical attack that threatens to undermine the progress toward economic equality. By participating in this campaign, you can play a pivotal role in preserving the vital work that organizations like the Fearless Fund have been championing for decades.
Here’s how you can make a difference:
- Donate: Visit the campaign website and make a donation. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will strengthen the Fearless Fund’s resilience in the face of adversity and continue its mission of serving women of color across the nation.
- Spread the Word: Show your support by posting messages leading up to Giving Tuesday and on the day itself, using the #WeAreAllFearless hashtag. Our social media toolkit is available to provide you with social media cards, graphics, suggested posts, and more to amplify your voice.
- Viral Social Media Takeover: Join the movement from November 14 to 28 by changing your social media header and profile images to #WeAreAllFearless graphics. The social media kit includes a variety of graphics and cards to help you make a powerful statement.
Ron Busby, Sr., President & CEO of USBC, underscored the importance of this campaign by stating, “Let there be no doubt about it. This is an attack on the very foundations of what organizations like USBC and our partners have tirelessly fought for over decades. This concerted effort aims to undermine the substantial economic progress attained by Black business owners, especially Black women and minority businesses. Indeed, the outcome of this lawsuit could potentially trigger farreaching consequences that would deeply impact the Black business community and the future prosperity of the U.S. economy.”
Join us in standing up for DEI values and supporting the Fearless Fund’s fight against this lawsuit. Together, we can ensure that the progress made in advancing economic opportunities for marginalized communities endures. Together, #WeAreAllFearless.
